Error "Sorry, a group for that username already exists."

When trying to create a new account, you may encounter an error stating: "Sorry, a group for that username already exists."
 
This simply means that an account on the server already has this username. Therefore, a new username must be chosen. Each account is unique with its username, meaning that no more than one account on the server may have the same username.
